1993 SHOONER BROCHURE COVER-16" Charger

Well, this is a first! In lieu of making the trip to the Philadelphia show in Jan. '07 Mary and I have decided to put some special things on eBay to make them available to anyone interested. This first piece is pretty special to us. We've had it in our collection for 13 years (since it was made). The 1st brochure we cameout with when we started our business featured this very piece on it's front cover. The charger is 16" dia. and quite a bit more shallow than the 16" that we make today. This particular form we "retired" over 10 years ago. I made this piece on our dining room table as our pottery shop was not yet completed. You will notice on the back the lack of the usual stamps that we use today. These, also, were still in the works. It is unique not only in its form but also for the 8 line slip-cup which with it was decorated. At a show we would put this out at $195. For now I'm going to list these pieces at absolutely NO RESERVE. Our hope is that someone will love this charger as much as we have over the last 13 years. This piece is truly one of the first of all of the pieces to come out of our shop over the years. Also included with this great charger is one of the last few of the 1993 brochures that we still have left. Have fun bidding! This should be a little more relaxing than fighting for a piece in the booth! I havn't set up anything with PayPal yet so payment will be check or money order. More to come... watch for it!
