Absolutely beautiful 1993 United States Thomas Jefferson Coin and Currency Set. Contains a 90% 1993 Silver Uncirculated Dollar and a 1994 Nickel with Matte Finish from the Philadelphia Mint, commemorating the 250TH Anniversary of the birth of Thomas Jefferson, the author of the Constitution and third President of The United States Of America. There is also a 1976 Series $2 Crisp Uncirculated Bill. Encased inside the original clear plastic within a purple and tan booklet. Historical pamphlet on Jefferson included. The obverse of Dollar is a left facing bust of Jefferson and the text, "THOMAS JEFFERSON ARCHITECT OF DEMOCRACY", "IN GOD WE TRUST", "LIBERTY". There are the dates 1743 and 1993. The reverse is an image of Monticello, stairs appear to be full step. There is the text, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “MONTICELLO”, “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, & ONE DOLLAR". 'P' mint mark. Image is of obverse and reverse of similar set of coins and $2. Problem-free. Very slight amber hue on nickel reverse. Shipping and handling to be paid by the winning bidder - 3.75.
