1994. The "LEGENDS of the WEST" Classic Error! This auction is for all the following: (Described by scan number) Scan #1: The actual error sheet Scott #2870. MNH. Encased in its original sealed container and never opened. Scan #2: The actual error stamp as contained within the #2870 error sheet. Scan #3: The "corrected" sheet Scott #2869. MNH. Scan #4; The "corrected" stamp as contained within the #2769 corrected sheet. Scan #5: The actual Registered envelope sent from the USPS to those who ordered the recalled (error) sheet. Scan #6: The Linn's September 19th, 1994 article describing "How to order the recalled Legends" sheet. Plus the letter that came from the USPS to each lucky recipient of the recalled (error) sheet. All the above will be sent to the winner of this auction. The present combined Scott Catalogue Value for these items is $290 All the Best!
