This is a one-half pound medallion with the design of an American Eagle Silver coin. It measures 3-1/2 inches in diameter and weighs 8 troy ounces. It is encased in a plastic capsule and looks much nicer in person than in the scan, my scanner doesn't do well with proof surfaces and most of the scratches or marks are actually on the plastic case, not the coin.
