This is a lovely Rowe Pottery Works 1995 Stoneware 2 Gallon Crock with Cobalt Flower Decoration. The potter on this piece was Craig Kitzman (KZ) and I believe the decorator was either Diane Luginbuhl or Lisa Roedl, as the cobalt mark is closest to these two decorator's marks. It is not identical to the mark of either decorator, however, so I can't be 100% certain. This piece is in mint condition. Please note that the picture of the interior shows what appear to be finger marks around the rim which I believe came from when the piece was taken out of the kiln as this is fairly common. Thus, I am not listing it as a defect. The line you see on the interior bottom of the crock is not a crack, it is running of the albany slip glaze. If you look carefully, you can see this. This is a beautiful piece and would make a great addition to your stoneware collection.
Please note that I try to describe these items to the best of my ability. I research items so I can be as complete as possible. I try to include pictures of every flaw that I might find. Many of our vintage and antique items come from estate sales so I do not know the history of any of the pieces unless otherwise specified. Because condition of items is subjective, please be sure to ask about the item if you have any specific questions. Also, if you notice anything that I have not specifically mentioned as a defect please email me and ask. I would be glad to look further at the item and to find out if I can see what you see in the pics. I never have and never will knowingly misrepresent any piece that I sell. Shipping via FedEx Ground will be $13.00 within the US. This will include insurance up to $100. If you would like a shipping quote outside of the US, please email me BEFORE BIDDING. Please take great care when you are receiving these items during periods of potentially extreme weather temperatures. Let the package sit before unpacking to allow the contents to gradually warm to indoor temperatures. Extreme changes in temperature may cause instant crazing to appear in vintage pottery and porcelain items w none had previously been evident. I prefer payment via Paypal, but will accept money orders, cashier's checks, or personal checks. Paypal payments must include a confirmed shipping address. Payment must be received within 7 days after auction close. Shipment will be held until personal check clears if this is your payment choice. It also will be held until cleared if your Paypal payment is via eCheck or if the item is being shipped internationally. I will try to combine shipping for multiple items won whenever possible. I cannot always do so when the items are large or very fragile. Please contact me if you have any additional questions regarding this or any of my auctions.
