****RARE**** You are bidding on a VERY rare and exceptional 1.75 liter 1996 art box and empty 1997 bottle of Jose Cuervo Reserva De La Familia Tequila. This box and bottle is HIGHLY collectible and is no longer in production and comes from my personal collection. This is the LARGE 1.75 liter box and bottle of the one the finest anejo tequilas ever produced. This box comes from the 1996 Jose Cuervo commemorative collection and includes the 1.75 Liter empty bottle of Jose Cuervo's Reserva de la Familia Tequila dated 29/IV/97 and numbered 02006. Manuel Velazquez' artist card is included. The beautiful artwork on this box is designed by artist/pintor Manuel Velazquez who's artwork has been featured in Mexico as well as the United States. This box and bottle are in very good condition! T is very faint hairline crack on the top of the box on in the middle of the turtle. It is very hard to see and is more noticed by feel than by sight. This does not extend through the whole thickness of the wood, just across the surface of the wood. The end with the moon has a little bit of chipping w the box edges join together,which is pretty common on the painted boxes. Please see the photo of this end of the box. Other than that, this box is exc eptionally vibrant compared to others I have collected.... I just want to disclose anything that might be of concern to you. Casa Jose Cuervo started production of these very limited anejo tequilas in 1995 to commemmorate 200 years of tequila production. Each year, Casa Cuervo commissioned a young, up and coming artist to design their special commemorative boxes. Every box is unique and has exceptional intrinsic value.
