Wow! Offered is an Alex Rodriguez on-card auto insert from the popular 1996 Leaf Signature Series; this particular beauty is of the RARE *SILVER* variety, a parallel whose print-run spans a paltry 200. The card itself is sharp at all four corners, with crisp edges, a perfect surface and great centering. It looks MINT all around! And then t is the the black-ink auto gracing this card's glossy veneer -- it too is mint! Having been penned with confidence, the stellar signature projects proudly and prominantly as a perfect "10" [and it should be noted that while Rodriguez signed most of these Leaf cards with only an "Al Rod," as he does most current auto cards and stickers, it is clear that he went through the motions of scribing his full last name, in the style of his earlier rookie-era 93/94 'classic-best' autos] That said, with a limited print of 200, a Bv of $250, and beautiful presentation, this Rodriguez Leaf should make a welcome addition to any collection. As one of the earlier autographed sets, this '96 Leaf both retains the look and feel of a vintage issue while STILL exhibiting a distinct flair for the modern. A true modern classic!!
