You are bidding on a RARE and HARD TO FIND - 1997 LIMITED EDITION (500 made) RALPH LAUREN/POLO Jointed STEIFF Mohair Bear with glass eyes. These Polo bears by Ralph Lauren have been created with the utmost quality and integrity of design. Each Polo Bear character is a replica of a 1909 Steiff Bear. This 13" mohair bear is described in it's attached paperwork as "dramatic as the African Highland, Safari Girl Bear wears a multi-colored linen-knit dress accented on the neckline with Ethiopian brass. Her tribal paisley scarf of 100% silk provides a striking contract with her rugged leather belt. Exquisite bangle earrings add an air of refinement." This ADORABLE bear comes with it's original yellow tag and button in it's ear (in FANTASTIC condition) along with a tag (which has a crease in it).
