1997 Shelby American SAAC Cobra GT350 GT500 registry. It was a massive effort to create this bible and wealth of knowledge concerning Shelby American cars from the 1960's. Originally published in 1997 this is the latest version of the registry put out by the Shelby American Automobile Club. Those books were only available to SAAC members, who were able to reserve a copy on a first come/first serve basis. This incredible book has 1445 pages of history and technical knowledge. It covers 289 and 427 Cobras, GT40s, GT350s, and GT500s from 1965-1970 including Shelby's Trans Am. This 1997 SAAC registry was out of print for some time until now a final reprint of only a few hundred books has just been completed. This is the last time these will be available until the next registry comes out. The next registry will be split into different volumes with the last volume still a year or two away. This is a new registry from the limited last run of reprints, after these t will be no more. Used ones have brought as much as $300.00 on the secondary market already. This will be a collector's item in the near future as are the 1987 and 1982 prior SAAC registries are already. Don't miss this opportunity to own a true piece of collectible Shelby memorabilia.
