Scarce Commemorative Set
In Original Packaging From The U.S. Mint 's your chance to own a scarce special-issue Coin & Currency Set as issued by the US Mint. This 1997 Botanic Garden Coin & Currency set features the scarce 1997 P uncirculated Botanic Garden silver dollar, the rare 1997 P matte finish nickel (issued only for this set), and a crisp uncirculated Series 1995 $1 Federal Reserve Note.All come housed in the original descriptive folder with the companion booklet and outer sleeve. All are in excellent shape, just as issued from the U.S. Mint. The coins and $1 note are sealed under the original clear plastic so they have never been handled. This coin and currency set created to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the US Botanic Garden. This set comes sealed in its original tri-fold display which is contained in its original sleeve. Also included is a booklet that tells the history of the Botanic Garden and the role our founding fathers played in the development and expansion of this national treasure. The booklet is not shown in the scans below. T are also two Certificates of Authenticity from the United States Mint and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. The nickel in this set is RARE. The matte finish was produced with special frosted dies. Only 25,000 of these were minted, making this coin a key item necessary for inclusion in any complete set of Jefferson nickels. The nickel alone was already worth $200 a year ago. In this set you will find the following coins: 1997P Botanic Garden Silver Dollar 38.10mm, 0.9000 Silver (26.73 grams)1997P Matte Nickel 19.53mm, Copper-Nickel (5.0 grams) 1995 uncirculated dollar note TERMS OF SALE: No reserve. The winning bidder is responsible for postage expense of $8 for Priority mailing with insurance. Buyers in Canada will be required to pay US$10.00 postage. Ohio buyers must also pay 6.5% Ohio Sales Tax on the amount of the winning bid. We are also pleased to accept traditional payment methods when requested.
