MADAME ALEXANDER MARICA ROSENBAUM COLLECTION Welcome, my name is Marcia Rosenbaum. As a very young child, my mother instilled in me a love for dolls and together we played and collected them. When I graduated high school, I thought it was time to but my dolls away. My passion lay dormant until the birth of my daughters. When Karen was five, I saw a Madame Alexander 14" Alice in Wonderland Doll in a toy shop in Westfield, NJ and fell in love with the Mary Ann face and the storybook doll concept, realizing I still had a vivacious passion for dolls alive in me. Now, almost 34 years later, my collection has expanded to thousands of dolls, bears and toys, with the major portion of collection consists of Madame Alexander dolls. Over the years, I have also, collected Robert Tonner, including Effanbee and Wilde Imagination, Helen Kish, Berdine Creedy, Heidi Pluszok, Vogue, Corolle, Steiff bears, Gund and TY bears and animals and many more. I belong to the Madame Alexander Doll Club, Robert Tonner Doll Club, Steiff Club, Helen Kish Collector's Club, Collector's United, the Lake County Doll Club, and United Federation of Doll Clubs. I have been too many conventions and have been fortunate in receiving many exclusive dolls and bears form these Shows and Conventions. A good many of the dolls have never been out of the box.
