Here we have our faithful Rover 216 Cabriolet. After being in the close family since 3000 miles in 2001, she has finally reached the time to go. During late September after a summer of 100 mile round trips, she was recovered from Torbay following believed headgasket failure. She was running at the time and I believe it was caught before any major problems happened!!Since being recovered, I have removed the rocker cover, removed the exhaust manifold and some other bits ( all bagged and labelled) in an effort to repair. Now due to a house move I have not got time so the painful decision has been made to sell.The good bits:- 4 good tyresaround 1200 miles since being MOT'd (no advisories)Roof in good condition showing only first signs of wear Interior very clean and little wearOnly covered less than 45k milesBody work very straight and tidy ( see notes)Rear silencer this year, From exhaust recentlyAlways had car mats fittedGenuine Mileage with MOT's to prove.1 owner prior to our familyI changed the oil, plugs and airfilter every year AT LEAST!!!Prior to being parked in September:-Electric windows workedRemote locking workedRan perfectlyElectric roof worked £ 35 of Fuel put in car 7 miles ago!!!!
