Entirely ~ hand painted ~ in the Watteau Style ( Romantic Couple & Landscape ). From the latter part of the ~ 1800's ~ comes this gorgeous tiny miniature cup & saucer by Richard Klemm ~ Dresden, Germany ~ Ca. 1886 . Surviving over a Century ago with superb detail & such ~ vibrant ~ colors with no loss of ~gilding . ** Please Note ** Some of the pictures reflect fading or loss of color, this is strictly camera glare! This diminutive set is marked only on the bottom of the cup and measures approximately; Cup 1-1/4" in height and the Saucer 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" in diameter . For accuracy as shown, t is one tiny raised granule that is covered in gilt located on the inside edge of the cup to include a few scattered microscopic dimples covered in gilt also located inside the cup.
