19C Antique French Sterling Silver Flatware Set Hello everyone, over the next months I will be selling a large part of finest items from my antiques, vintages, and fine jewellry collection. About the Item: , up for auction is a very fine Antique French Sterling Silver Flatware Set of spoons and forks for 2 persons (4p.) in original presentation box! This is a beautiful set of flatwares for a couple, comprising 2 forks and 2 spoons decorated with chased elegant Rococo (or Louis XV ) Style pattern, and housed in their gorgeous original presentation box. The set is in excellent condition, I see not much trace of used, if ever, and each piece has fine hand engraved monogram "DC" on the handle. A great addition to your fine antique collection - bid with confidence! Dimentions: As hallmarks we have The French Minerva No.1 on each pieces, which indicates the best quality of French sterling silver 950/1000 (finest than sterling) used in Paris since 1838. As master's mark we have of " Cailar-Bayard ", 37 & 39 rue Grange-aux-Belles, established in 1848 by Noel Cailar and Pierre Bayard, had huge success of producting silver flatwares from end of the Century until early 20th. This beautiful Antique French Sterling Silver Flatware Set is in Excellent Condition . Less than usual light scratch marks. The box is in Very Good Condition, open/close system works perfectly. T is some stain on silk inside, and has some wear on the paper outside. Please refer the detail photos I added.
