About the Item:

This is a rare piece, Antique French Sterling Silver Napkin Ring decorated with beautiful Napoleon III style guilloche all round. Wholly made from heavy French sterling silver, this napkin ring has real collecting value! Hand engraved lovely flower and leaves on the guilloche pattern, and on its front adorned with elegant chiseled oval frame, with hand engraved initial "AA" inside.

Diameter: 1"7/8 (4.9cm) - Width: 1"3/8 (3.5cm) - Weight: 1.32 oz (37.5g.)
As hallmarks we have the French Minerva No.1 , which indicates the best quality of French sterling silver 950/1000 (finest than sterling) used in Paris since 1838. As maker's mark we can see a trace of the mark of "Henin & Freres" 9 rue des Enfants-Rouges active between 1865-1872 .

This elegant & charming Antique French Sterling Silver Napkin Ring is in Very Good Used Condition . Notice from the pictures, commensurate with the napkin ring's age, and the fact that it had been served for long years, it has minor scratch marks on the surface.
