19C Antique French Sterling Silver Gilt
4 Dessert Serving Set Shell Pattern !! Hello everyone, Over the next months we will be selling a large part of our finest items from my antiques, vintages, and fine jewellry collection. I am offering for an auction, this 19C Antique French Sterling Silver Dessert Serving Set made in France. These beautiful pieces of work, fancy Dessert Serving set is made from sterling silver in the 19th century. It has a beautiful Shell pattern on the both side of each handles. Blades is made from metal gilt, and beautifully hand engraved lovely patterns. As hallmark we have the French Minerva No.1 on the handles, which indicates the best title of French sterling silver 950/1000, used in Paris since 1838. We also can see the master marks in diamond shape of the French maker - "Bezou" 72, Rue des Archives, Paris-3e. On each Gilt blades we can see the metal marks. Size: The knife is 7"inches (17.9 cm) Long and Weight 1.222oz (34.65g). The pierced spoon is 6"5/8 inches (16.8cm) Long and 1.125oz (31.90g) Weight. The small cake server is 6"1/8 inch (15.5cm) and 1.203oz (34.10g) Weight. The fork is 6"5/8 inches (16.8cm) Long and Weight 1.071oz (30.35g). The Total Weight of the 4 pieces: 4.5 oz (129g). This 4 Antique Silver Sterling Dessert Serving Set is in Very Good Condition as its age, with no major dents, repairs or damage. Notice from the pictures, commensurate with the age of this set, slightly scratched from long years of use, but it's very minor and hardly can be seen. Please have a look at photos I added !!!
