19C Brown Transferware English ABBEY RUINS Plate Acorn Welcome to our royalbert antique auction and adorable transferware etc store for a wonderful 8-7/8" diameter Victorian English Copeland Spode Plate. Chocolate Brown transfer design in dark, medium and light shades shows center scene of wreckage of a partly destroyed lovely Castle and its attached Abbey Church viewed from across water. Border of English Oak leaves and acorns is of the profuse, spilling variety so favored by Staffordshire District Aesthetic designers! Signed as pictured with impressed Copeland Brown mark dating this plate's manufacture to 1882. NO RESERVE Payment Options:USA ONLY: Please pay ONCE only.
