19C ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GOLD + GOLD FILLED HINGE BANGLE BRACELET Circa late 1870's to earliest 1880's wide, hollowware hinge bangle bracelet a wonderful mid Victorian find. This bangle was part of a large important collection of similar era jewelry of a well-heeled estate from the East Coast. It measures just under 5/8" W x 6 1/8" around internally. It will comfortably fit wrists up to 6". Bracelet is beautifully decorated with rosey gold accents. This is not marked & may be gilt on brass with gold top accents. Retains original safety chain. Condition is very, very good. T are some tarnish marks near the clasp + hinge & a few ultra shallow dents on the back side only. Light wear on inside panels well within that expected for age. Decoration is pristine. Patina is as it should be. Bracelet is very nice. Clasp shuts with nice click.
