19c VICTORIAN PICTORIAL PHOTO ALBUM An 11inch x 9 inch leather bound Victorian photo album . This is one of the more unusual kind with some pictorial pages as shown --13 colourful pages with views of England Scotland and Ireland, list including Windsor Castle at the front There are also plain pages to slip in photographs . There are included 5 cabinet cards 6" x 4" and around 20 carte de visite portraits 4" x 2 ". All date from the late 1800s There are a few faults to some of the pages as always happens with these old albums,a little foxing in parts and a few small tears where the photos have been slotted in .Also one page with some surface loss to a coloured page which is shown one photobut could be touched in with watercolours The last photo of a boy has the name George Woods in pencil on the back The album is bound in old old leather cover with faults to the spine mainly the ends , lastly the fastening catch is incomplete . I have a metal catch from another album which I'll include in case it is of any use for restoration, its not the same but may help This is a great collection of 19c portrait photographs ,but too heavy to post to non UK destinations
