A fine Antique Victorian Silver & Crystal Claret Jug Decanter Carafe with very ornate decorations all around: Highly Embossed Figure of a Mythological God at the spout and Figures of Maiden , ALL surrounded by Grape Vines full of Grapes, Leaves and Vines,... ( all are highly embosed ); The Finial is a Tall Lion standing Elegantly and holding a Shield with a Carved Emblem of a Winged Dragon Standing on top of a Crown ; The Crystal portion has (ALL OVER) beautifully etched Grapes on Vines running all over the ENTIRE piece . The piece is well marked at four (4) different locations (see the last pictures - the pictures for better viewing): (1) Hall marked on the side, (2) marked behind the Shield being ''held'' by the Lion finial, (3) marked with letters at the hinge of the lid, (4) also marked with a number on the underside of the lid.
