Estate fresh from Saugerties, NY, and 100% guaranteed to be as stated an antique and not repro. Up for auction is this lovely and rare 19 Century reverse painted on glass CHINA TRADE portrait of a Geisha girl, a young woman trained as a professional singer, dancer, and companion for men. This is 2 of a collection of 2 reverse painted on glass portraits we have listed right now on ebay. This gorgeous painting is Brass mounted and is set in a lovely aesthetic Rosewood frame. Looks to be a well pamperd Geisha girl sitting in a seductive pose. Notice the fine colors, Ruby reds, Deep blues and sunset tangerines throughout. Finest of detail and is quite exquisite to the eye. So life like. What a lovely and rare find we have for you to enjoy along with her mate listed in another auction. Don't let this girl out of your grasp.
