A 19th C French Gilt Bronze Clock, mounted on a plinth with a relief of an arcade and busts on columns, bearing the initials of RMC, resting on paw feet, the plinth surmounted by two full length figures in classical dress holding a drama masque, a tambourine, and a scroll, and with a classically draped bust with laurel wreath surmounting the clock case, which is decorated with musical, academic and other motifs. The face is enameled and missing a glass cover. 19 1/4` high, 16 3/4` wide, 7` deep. Minor tarnish to gilding, chips to winding apertures on face, part of held scroll missing.
