This is a nice looking late 19th century country store advertising item Â- original wooden box for J.S. Carr brand biscuits of Springfield, Massachusetts. Originally came with saltine type crackers, store box is all wood with original lithographed labels on front and inside the lid. Box has hinged lid and is all intact with no breaks or damages Â- original hinges complete and working. The front label has some paper wear and area of loss from use Â- not drastic, but not as clean as the inner label which is all complete and no excessive wear. Country store box is 20Â" X 14Â" X 12Â" and weighs 14 lbs for shipping via USPS Parcel Post. (Rates will vary depending on w you live.)
