Great looking Victorian era large 15" porcelain charger made in Germany circa 1880-90s period. Features an excellent hand painted detailed image of a German castle and gold trim on edges. Several markings on back, Mettlach- Villeroy and Boch- Dec 167, patented USA etc. Very good original condition- no cracks, chips, nicks or loss of image, no scratches. What it does have is one area on rim that has an age craze- this is not a crack and does not show on back, looks like a split from heat or blister type spot that has a little loss of finish as photo indicates- no other defects. This charger is 15" in diameter, looks and displays very well and is guaranteed old and authentic... shipping is via USPS for their rate with no extra handling fees etc.
