Today's auction is for a wonderful 19th C. Victorian Garden Lav. This 3 pc., highly paint decorated wash station is complete and in very nice antique condition. Painted in the usual Victorian colors of pinks, greens, purples and golds. Alot of raised paint detail. Covered in groupings of flowers and swags, the pictures speak for themselves. It has a nickle faucet that works. The only apology to the piece is a teeny, tiny chip to the top back of the main piece. T are some mild hairlines that do not affect the integrity nor do they affect the appearance or decoration of the fabulous piece. It has a maker mark on the bottom(see pic), but I have no idea who it belongs to. Bottom section has some normal water staining inside from use. Back of main section has 2 holes that you would use to affix the piece to a wall. Book value is between $600 and $800. Just a most beautiful piece of functional art. Bottom basin measures 14 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 4" . Main section measures 15 1/2" x 13" wide x 10" deep. Lid measures 6 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" wide. Buyer pays shipping and insurance.
