19th C Vienna Porcelain Sgnd Red Cabinet Cup & Saucer

Opulent, demitasse size cup and saucer bearing a late 19th century beehive mark for the Vienna porcelain works on the cup. The saucer has a blue beehive with the word Austria over an impressed mark. I canâe(tm)t be sure of the impressed, it may read, Carl Kron or Kroh, Carlsbad, and the number 21. This may be very early 20th century Bavaria.
White porcelain with gold walls, ruby red body with trailing white ivy leaves circling a band of heavy gilding. Decorated with gold and white enamel beading framing the hand painted portrait of a beautiful young woman with flowing hair. It is signed, Wild. The medallion is also set off with tiny, gold enameled beading. Excellent original condition, with some minor wear to a couple of the tiny beads, a firing flaw in the inside bottom of the cup, and some roughness around the very edge of the cup foot. It displays beautifully. This is one of two we are offering this week.
