This stoneware/pottery pitcher, measuring 5" from spout to handle by 5 ½" tall by 3 ¾", has base wear, several small chips to the base and edge around the spout, and it needs a good cleaning. Both sides depict a wreath of laurel leaves with President George Washington in the center. Done in a dark brown glaze. Nice to add to any collection. We charge actual shipping costs only, with no handling fees, so interested buyers please send us your zip code and we will let you know what the shipping fees will be. PLEASE DO NOT USE EBAY'S CHECK OUT SYSTEM - we will contact you. High bidder pays actual postage/insurance cost. We accept checks from bidders with 25+ positive feedback comments; otherwise, we accept money orders, cashier's checks, or PayPal. Illinois residents must pay 6.5% sales tax or furnish a current resale number. We do ship internationally, but insurance must be purchased if it is available. If insurance is not available, the buyer must accept the loss if that occurs. Since the U.S.P.S will not reimburse any foreign buyer for any registered item over $40.00 (greater amount in Canada ), any loss over that amount must be assumed by the buyer. For international transactions we accept: 1) checks drawn from U.S. banks; or, 2) PayPal. WE NO LONGER ACCEPT ANY INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS, because our bank informed us: "When we receive a foreign item, we cannot process it as a normal item, since the routing number on the bottom of the document has eight numbers w U.S. items have 9 . . . The item has to be manually processed with the Federal Reserve Bank. The Fed, in turn, charges a special fee to process this item. Tfore, we must pass that fee on to our customer. The foreign item processing fee is $10.00." Just now my bank told me I would also be assessed (by them) any fees charged by the other country's bank for accepting the money order back for processing at their end. This makes no sense to me even though I understand their rules, so no more international money orders. So much for free trade. We require that you purchase insurance on any item over $30.00. We appreciate your interest and bidding very much as well as your courtesy. Thank you.
