In my private collection for the passed 15 yrs.Recently (2005) in Atlantic City Antique Show similar inkwell the asking price was $4,500.00 Do your home work and surge on E-bay for selling prices. This size Tiffany Zodiac Inkwell is the rarest of all due to the size 11 inches square and 3-1/2" high. Not many produced. This is investment opportunity for some buyers and always will appreciate in value and will be in demand. Also is a truly great find to a pen and inkwell collector. A small amount of number exist.The early ones in Bronze patina are the most desirable from the gilded patina bronzes the later version of produced inkwells. Is all Solid Bronze. Condition is great all original and authentic unpolished untouched. T are some ink stains as pictured. I never botd removing. This inkwell was used and I purchased from exclusive private estate sale in Long Island, NY. Believed to be original family owned since 1890. This inkwell is signed in the back.
