Offered for sale is this fabulous French oak wedding armoire from the Normandy region that dates back to the late 1800s. Intricate and very ornate hand carving - doves & ribbons, mandolins, roses, eagles. Overall, this piece is in excellent condition and has been meticulously cared for over the years. All of the hardware is original and t is also a key (not pictured). It was owned by a Chicago family and has spent the last 40 years in the living room of a Lake Shore Drive condominium. This wonderful piece has restored as a freestanding armoire as at some point in it's long, sheltered life it was converted to a built-in bar. It will be able to be easily dismantled for transport or shipping (pegged construction). The unit includes 3 adjustable shelves. Perfect for an entertainment center! It measures 91" high in the center, 64"wide and 24" deep. Local pick up only or local Chicagoland delivery can be arranged. Shipping can be arranged, but you must e-mail me with a quote prior to your offer. I will only accept a cashier's check as payment for this item. Sorry, but I do not accept personal checks
