19th Century Chinese Small Footed Bronze Bowl

~ 19th Century Chinese Small Footed Bowl ~

Here is a lovely little example of an Oriental bronze footed bowl, possibly used for the burning of incense.
The bowl itself has been cast in bronze and the detailing hand engraved after. The design is made up of a series of dots, lines and flowers. There is a lot of detail in the design.

~ Dimensions ~

The vessel stands at 2 inches (5cm). The mouth of the vessel is 2.5 inches (6.5cm) in diameter and the base is 1.5 inches (4cm) in diameter.
The piece weighs 0.15 kg.

~ Condition ~

Overall the piece is in good condition for its age. There is some wear which is to be expected for a piece of this type but the design and surface are intact with no major areas of damage. The foot of the bowl however is slightly misshapen but this does not effect the way the piece stands
