19th Century Pantry Box in Fantastic Paint, All Original Last from the Collection we Offered Last Week Description: This pantry box came from a Long time Maine Collection. I auctioned the other 3 last week and each sold from $500-$700 per box. This one has the same Great paint, but was the same size as one of the others and has a couple of small apologies. The box measures 7.5 inches in diameter and is about 3.25 inches tall. It is in a Tremendous Greenish/Blue Dry paint with a Wonderful Patina consistent with its age. T are a couple of small condition issues. Both are along the Bottom edge of the box, one below the nails as seen in the pictures, and a similar 2 inch loss on the other side. No, this one is not worth what the others sold for, but it is easily worth $300-$400 with a reserve that is much lower. The Paint is strong enough to overcome the small condition issues. Take a good look at the pictures, the oxidation on the bottom, the great nails and the thickness of the walls. This is not your everyday Pantry Box. Please bid with Confidence.
