Lovely hand-crafted firescreen made of walnut. The serpentine frame is nicely adorned with shell and acanthus motifs. The needlepoint tapestry is in good condition but not original to the screen. A pair of acanthus-shaped legs brings support. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 44"high/ 29"wide/ 16"deep.
