Sweet little porcelain bisque piano baby boy "Hansi" was produced by Gebruder Heubach in the late 19th century. He is in the sitting position with his nightie slipping off his shoulders. The mold is exceptionally well detailed and the hand painting very lifelike. In the late 1800s the well-decorated home had a shawl on the piano. Bisque figures of babies were designed to help hold the shawl in place. Bears the incised starburst mark and made in Germany. He is 5" tall and 4.5" long and is in good condition with the only damage being the hand has been broken and reglued, otherwise he is perfect.
