Fine and rare 19th century Mexican sombreroHand caned, fiber cord , braided rope and meticulously wrapped in metallic threadThis came from estate AA Escontrias from El Paso TexasThere is a ferrorcarriles nacionales de MexicoStub of some sort ( national railways of Mexico)Dated Jan 31st 1916 El Paso TexasThese railways were used during the Mexican Revolution the tintype came with items shownThe sombrero bares resemblance to the sombrero used by Robert Mitchum in the movie ,the Wonderful Country.Height measures 23 inches and 17.5 diameter
