A 19th century Milliner's Beechwood hat block on pine stand. The hat block measure 7" high, 6" wide, 19 1/2" circumference at base, 21 3/4" circumference at top. The stand measures 5 3/4" high. Impressed stamped mark to base of hat block 20 1/2, together with an indistinct name written in pencil, perhaps that of the milliner's customer. There are the usual pin marks to the hat block. Both the block and stand are in good overall condition with attractive patination. Please note that the UK postage on this item is £6 and not the £4 limit imposed by Ebay. Please take a look at my other items, I often have interesting and reasonably priced items for sale and can combine postage where appropriate. Items can be collected if preferred from South Oxfordshire or Tunbridge Wells. I am quite prepared to post overseas but please enquire for shipping price before bidding.
