is a excellent 19th~century circa 1893 mounted albumen cabinet card photograph of Cylinder, Iowa showing several men gatd around and several horse drawn wagons hauling milk cans in the back with one wagon advertising "Badger Wagons" on the sides. The image also shows several large buildings, a water tower, a windmill, possible RR depot? with several CM&SP (Chicago, Milwaukee & St.Paul Railway) box cars on the tracks in the background, on the building to the left you can see a large early "Ringling Brothers Circus" poster with graphics. The actual albumen image measures 7-1/2" x 9-1/2" with the mount measuring 10" x 12" and exhibits excellent overall clarity with some minor foxing. The top mount margin has a 1-1/4" tear (see images) but does not effect the photo~image at all. On the back is written "Cylinder, Iowa~1893", this is a terrific historical image of 19th~century Iowa and comes guaranteed fresh to the market from a central Indiana estate. NO RESERVE!!
