Well-worn 9" tall chocolate or coffee vessel from the middle 19th century. Gold loss and other signs of wear are present. Three hairline cracks raidiate from the w the bottom of the handle meets the body. Cracks are hard to spot, the pot still displays very well, but extend through to from inside to outside and would prevent the vessel from being held by the handle. All offers welcome. I tried to capture the actual condition of the piece in the photographs. The intricate floral pattern in relief is outstanding, the colors quite nice. The blue is a lovely gradient that compliments the pattern nicely. Completely unmarked. The quality of this piece outweighs the wear and damage. PayPal payment within 48 hours of invoice please.
