19th Century Solid Silver Teutonic Knight figurine.This beautifully made knight is wearing an elaborate full suit or armour, which in reality must have weighed a great deal!He has an ox bone face and a helmet surmounted with a German eagle , unfortunately his visor is missing.There are some German silver hallmarks on the standbut I am not very good with continental marks, perhaps someone can help.This really is quite an impressive figure from a collector who only had first class examples.The weight is 692g but I suspect that the base is loaded.Height: 26cm.
