19TH CENTURY RARE STAFFORDHIRE MODEL OF SIR ROBERT PEEL ON HORSEBACK This is a well coloured and bold example of a titled Sir Robert Peel on horseback. He is well dressed and wears a top hat. He has an encrusted scarf over his shoulder and there is encrusted detail over the base. He wears a smiling expression on his face and makes a prominent display. He is titled at the base and he measures over 12 inches high. Head to tail is 10 inches across and this makes a really handsome display. There is rubbing to the black colour on his hat and hair. There is light crazing to the rear, but this is a very nice and rare example.
