This listing is for a lovely Victorian Period, c. 1880 dresser novelty that includes a trumpet shaped enameled bud vase with a matching bowl fitted into a gilded brass stand. The measurements are 8 1/4" high, 5 1/4" wide and 6" deep. Both the bud vase and bowl are cased glass with an opaque white glass outer layer and a robin's egg blue glass interior with deeply crimped and ruffled clear glass outer edges. Both pieces are decorated with heavily applied enamel flowers and butterfies.

The brass stand has a free-form vine design to hold the bud vase and a decorative embossed floral decorated area on the front and seen below the lower edge of the bowl. The bowl may have been originally intended for jewelry (rings) when removed at night.

These Victorian Art Glass pieces were made in several countries including America, England, France and it is often difficult to attribute them to any one country. Regardless of the country of origin or maker, this piece is absolutely gorgeous! The glass is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs and fits correctly into the stand.
