Very nice early 19th century yellow ware stoneware food mold in an octagonal shape. It is nearly 8" long, 3 1/2" tall and 6" wide. It weighs 2 1/2 pounds unpacked. A bright, golden color in the tradition of rich yellow ware. The mold has one nick on the very bottom edge rim, an old loss and not a recent one, and a few slip globs inside the raised bottom. Interior hairline as shown - inside only, does not go through. The sheaf of wheat molded pattern in the bottom is surrounded by a columnar fluted pattern for a pleasing look. A very nice primitive item for any country kitchen or antique collector of authentic Americana. This is one of two molds I have listed. See my other listings for more antiques and collectibles.
