This is an Spectacular 19th century dipiction of the Santo Child Jesus made in Europe, Italy. The charming NiÃ±o has been carved from wood, polychromed painted with the addition of beautiful blue glass eyes and a silver imperial Itara crown with a amber stone on the center. The hair has been painted with pan de oro, or gold gilt, and t is evidence of over-painting in some places, very common for antique santos. This is a beautiful Santo NiÃ±o, wonderful for any devotional collection.

One arm is missing because of the time.
