Up for your consideration is a framed checkerboard, made with square nails. Its signed and dated on the back aprox age 1875. Very simple classic construction, its the board is made from pine and its framed out using square nails, there have been brad nails added recently for support as shown in photo #4. Board is flat straight with no warping and very solid. It measures 15 1/2" by 15 1/4" and is 1" thick. Exceptional well painted in a rare color combination. No damage except only age related wear see photo # 4 along frame rim and some fading to paint. Freshly waxed ready to add to your collection or inventory. Please feel free to make any offers, there is some wiggle room. I except all forms of payments. I combine items for cheaper shipping. I do not except bids from bidders with less than 10 feedbacks.
