Antique Colonial late 19th century wooden Crucifix. The crucifix It is a principal symbol of the Christian religion . It is primarily used in the Catholic Church , Anglican churches, and Eastern Orthodox churches, and it emphasizes Christ's sacrificeâe" his death by crucifixion , which they believe brought about the redemption of humankind.

Made in maguey wood, Jesus carries an amazing silver 925 crown of thorns with three Potencias. He is also dressed with a wonderful purple silk skirt decorated with golden threads. The upper point of the cross also decorated with silver and a crown on top.

The Inri sign and the skull and crossbones made also of silver. The cross has also been decorated with a white silk Stole with golden leaf threads.

Nails also made of silver.

The cross and base also made of wood.
