Up for bid is this beautiful mid 19th century FLIP-TOP EMPIRE GAME TABLE. The flame mahogany finish is stunning, but t are repairs necessary to make it perfect as follows: The veneer edging is missing in several places, on the top some veneer is missing in one spot( in the corner), t is "bubbling", some minor surface scratches and one of the hinges is broken. See all the closeup pictures for detail. When closed this sturdy table is 36 inches long by 18 inches wide by 28 1/2 inches tall and opens to approximately 36 inches square. The shipping cost for this item will be a flat rate fee of $110. which includes insurance, in the lower 48 states only. Of course you always have the option to pick it up at my home in Melrose, Massachusetts. No reserve, good luck bidding!
