ESTATE ANTIQUE 19thC-Turn of the Century French Rococo Bronze Sterns Brothers NY Photo FRAME with Original Convex Glass This frame can be used as an EASEL table top frame.. or hung on the wall.. This is a STUNNING French Rococo style bronze antique Photo frame. I believe it is gilt bronze. It is very heavy weighing over a pound. The frame is in great condition in my opinion for it's age..... It has mellowed in appearance over the years and has a fabulous untouched patina and no breaks or repairs, and no damage to the easel back. It still retains the old convex glass, and 2 rings on the back for hanging. The back is stamped Stern Bros. N. Y. The frame Measures Approx. 9" X 7" Back Plate/ Frame Opening, and 10 1/4" X 8 1/2" Tip to Tip.The needlepoint is included.. This piece has been left how I found it. SWEET Frame !!
