Listed this week is a very fine quality estate collection of Chinese porcelain. Mark Your Calendars, this auction ends the evening of Sunday June 16th Up for auction is a Pair of Very Fine 19thc Chinese Famille Verte Figural Scenic Rouleau Vases. The Vases are some of the finest quality examples I have seen. The Vases are finely hand painted throughout with interesting paneled imperial figural scenes to either side, along with other interesting designs throughout. The Vases also have a nice Kangxi period design and Rouleau vase form. The Vases are an original pair with mirror images which is nice. The Vases show some light wear throughout, but overall for their age are in very fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The vases are nice Large size example and display beautifully measuring 7 inches wide, by 17 1/4 inches tall. The vases also have very good provenance being from the collection of D.B.Pollard, as labelled. Pollard was a well known high end Asian arts collector. Many examples from this collection have sold through high end auctions over the years, and some well into the 10�s of thousands of dollars. So this is really nice history to have with the vases as well. The Vases would make a great addition to any collection, and are also very fine investment quality pieces.
