EARLY AMERICAN BLOWN CUT GLASS PITTSBURGH GLASS THISTLE SHAPE FOOTED VASE TWELVE SHORT CUT PANELS 19th CENTURY I SHIP WORLDWIDE Being offered in this sale is an early American blown midwestern Pittsburgh cut glass vase that I would say dates circa 1860/70. I don't know if this is Bakewell Glass or perhaps one of the many other factories operating in the area at the time. It measures 7" tall and is 5" in diameter across the top, 4" across the base. The body is cut with a pattern of twelve short panels. The upper rim is cut and polished while the underside of the base is fire polished. The condition is excellent. T are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. The last six images illustrate a number of other pieces of early American glass that I am listing separately on Ebay. You are bidding on only the cut glass vase in this sale. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. This piece is being sold without a reserve as long as t is an opening bid.
