~NO RESERVE~ up for your consideration is a Blood Letting/Bleeding Knife/Blade Fleam, circa 19th Century, a 3 1/4" Knife Set that includes (2) blades. It has a handsome brass case and the blades remain in good antique condition having a nice patina and some finish wear and soiled areas. The blades are sharp and slide open and close tightly with ease. The brass case also remains in good condition having a very nice patina and having some finish wear and soiling in areas, near the edge and also around the pin hardware, etc. I find no signatures or hallmarks on the knife. Truly a n excellent Civil War Era Collectible, remaining in good condition with a fabulous patina, and would no doubt be an excellent addition to any antique medical collection or Civil War collection! **NOTE: This item is an antique and is being sold "as is/antique condition".
