19thC Gold & Silver Gilt Figural Bronze Clock Case! This wonderful early bronze clock case is in the form of a barrel resting on the back of a xo. It has an oriental taste with figural flowers around the barrel and relief decorations on the saddle. It has nice detail with openwork designs on the base. It is the quality of Christofle, although we can find no mark. It dates from the mid 19th Century and measures 11 + ¼ inches tall by 6 + ½ inches across by 3 + 5/8 inches front to back. The opening has a 3 inch diameter. It is in excellent condition with some light age appropriate wear. Shipping, Handling, and Insurance Charges will be paid by Buyer. Insurance is optional, but highly recommended, as we will not be responsible for any loss or damage on uninsured items. For domestic (USA) shipping we offer only USPS Priority Mail, unless item is over 25lbs, at this point we will offer UPS Ground.
